ShadowPermissions

Ranks, permissions and prefixes, driven from a window instead of a file.

Minecraft1.26.2 & 1.26.3 PlatformPaper 26.2 & 26.3 Version1.0.4

Free Stable Foundations

Eleven ranks out of the box

Coloured, weighted, inheriting from each other, with three promotion tracks already set up at first boot.

Everything is a node

Permissions, groups, prefixes, suffixes, meta and weight are the same thing: so each one can carry a context and an expiry.

Five states at a glance

Granted here, denied here, inherited, inherited-denied, unset - with the name of the group it comes from, so nothing is from memory.

A database from the first second

Creates an H2 in MySQL-compatible mode on its own, with every table and index: nothing to install, no query to run.

Prefixes and suffixes included

The rank shows in chat, in the tab list and above the head without a second plugin: there is no separate system just for prefixes.

573 translated keys

Italian and English complete, and every player reads in the language of their own client.

What it is ShadowPermissions

Eleven ranks ready at first boot, coloured and weighted, inheriting from each other. Permissions, groups, prefixes, suffixes and weight are all nodes, so each one can carry a context and an expiry.

Un plugin di permessi si giudica quando qualcosa non funziona. Un grado sparisce, un VIP perde il volo, uno staffer puo' bannare e non dovrebbe.

Instead of

ShadowPermissions covers what you do today with LuckPerms — in one jar, with no dependencies to install first.

How to install it

  1. Copy the jar into the plugins folder of your Paper server.
  2. Restart. The plugin writes its own configuration.

Supported plugins

4 declared in the descriptor
VA Vault Optional
PL PlaceholderAPI Optional
LU LuckPerms Optional
SH ShadowEssentials Optional

None of these has to be installed, except the ones marked required: when it is there, ShadowPermissions uses it; when it is missing, it works all the same.
