What we know about you
Not much, and for reasons that fit in one line each. This page lists every piece of data we touch, when it arrives and what it is for. If an entry does not add up, ask.
- The name and email address of your Google account
- When you sign in to the customer area
They let us recognise you between visits and put the licences and tickets in your name. We never receive your password: Google confirms who you are, and only the result reaches us.
- Your tickets and the messages inside them
- When you ask for support
They are the history of the problem. They stay readable to you and to whoever answers, and they still help months later when the same thing happens again.
- Server version, plugin version, operating system, last console errors
- Only if you open the ticket from the game with ShadowControl
They are half the investigation. Your server sends them because you asked it to by pressing that button: we do not collect them from the website.
- Licence codes and which servers they were activated on
- When you buy and activate
A licence covers a number of servers, and enforcing it means knowing which. Counting them is the only reason this data exists.
- A log of administrative operations
- When we issue or revoke a licence, or start a job
It cannot be modified or deleted, not even by us. That is the only thing that makes a log worth keeping: if it could be corrected it would be worth nothing.
What we do not do
- No third-party analytics. We do not know how many pages you looked at or where you came from.
- No profiling cookies, and no banner to click — because there is nothing to consent to.
- No requests to other people’s domains: the fonts and the images live on this same site. Opening a ShadowMC page does not tell anyone else that you were here.
- We do not sell data and we do not hand it to anyone for commercial purposes.
The favourite you save on a product page
The little heart on the plugin pages stays in your browser and never reaches us. If you clear the site data it disappears, and that is fine: it is a convenience, not data of ours.
Automatic ticket analysis
When a ticket arrives, the text may be sent to Anthropic’s model to propose a category, an urgency and a draft reply. A person reads the proposal before anything happens: no automatic reply goes out on its own. If you would rather your ticket did not go through it, say so in the message and we handle it by hand.
Where the data lives
The database is on Supabase and the files on Cloudflare R2, both with servers in the European Union. Access is restricted by role in the database itself, not only in the interface: even calling the database directly, a customer sees their own tickets and nothing else.
For how long
- Tickets — for as long as your account exists, because they are the history of your problems.
- Licences — for as long as they are valid, plus the time required by tax obligations.
- Operations log — it is not deleted: that is its purpose.
Your rights
You can ask to see your data, correct it, export it or have it deleted. It is done through a ticket, and the answer arrives within thirty days. Deleting the account also closes the tickets and unbinds the licences from the servers: that cannot be undone, which is why we confirm it before doing it.
An honest note. This text describes what the system actually does, and it is written to be understood. It does not replace a notice drafted by someone who does this for a living: before selling starts, this page needs the identifying details of the data controller and a review by a professional.
